Summer is already well under way! Under the August sun, all eyes are on the capital. Until 3 September 2023, Paris Plages is back! Since 2002, the event has provided free relaxation and leisure areas to enjoy during the hot summer months. Lawns, umbrellas, deckchairs, swimming areas, cultural and sports activities… It’s all set up so everyone can have a good time and enjoy the warm weather. On the Quai de la Loire, along the Canal de l’Ourcq, there is a large swimming area with 3 pools of 40 m, 1.2 m and 2 m. Paris Plages is for the enjoyment of all, from accompanied children and people with reduced mobility to amateur and experienced swimmers alike. There are cabins, showers and toilets on site so everyone can get changed into their swimwear. There are also snack bars and ice cream stalls for those in need of refreshment.
