Then known as Forest Hill, the ReMIX was one of the first hotels to be built near and throughout the Parc de La Villette. Just a few minutes away from the Cité des Sciences, you can enjoy a wide range of activities. Here are the main ones!

CITE DES ENFANTS
In the 80s, the focus was on providing children and teenagers with easier access to knowledge. And so, quite naturally, the Cité des Enfants was born. Throughout the year, it welcomes children into 2 universes dedicated to 2 – 7-year-olds and 5 – 12-year-olds, to learn while having fun. Because knowledge is ageless, you’re never too young (or too old!) at the Cité des Sciences. The new Cité des Bébés for 0–23-month-olds is dedicated to helping your little ones develop their curiosity. But it’s all in good fun!

PERMANENT EXHIBITIONS
The permanent exhibitions have kept up with the changes of our time and offer a popularisation of the major issues of our age: the climate emergency, robots, video games, but also the brain, the oceans and genetics.

TEMPORARY EXHIBITIONS
The Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie is the ideal place to explore and understand how the world is changing in a scientific and industrial context: industrial progress, the body and sport, the 5 senses facing up to the contemporary world, health – the temporary exhibitions cover a wide range of varied subjects, just like the world we live in.

CITE DES METIERS, CITE DE LA SANTE, LIBRARY, CARREFOUR NUMERIQUE
The Cité also has several resource centres to facilitate this access to knowledge. The Cité des Métiers welcomes both students and working or non-working people in several areas, including career guidance, setting up a business and retraining. The Cité de la Santé provides information, advice, and a vast range of documentation on today’s major health issues. The library offers a wealth of scientific and technical documentation. Finally, the Carrefour numérique is a collaborative space for learning, creating, exploring, and building together around digital projects.

THE PLANETARIUM
Understanding our world also means knowing where it fits in the universe. The Planetarium at the Cité des Sciences presents themed exhibitions and projections on the great enigmas of the worlds that surround us.

The Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie includes other sites, some of them iconic, such as the Géode, the Cité du cinéma and the Cité de la Musique. The ReMIX Hotel enjoys a particularly privileged location for a few days’ stay in the Parc de La Villette. In less than 5 minutes from the hotel, the universe and knowledge of the scientific world opens its doors to you!
